Ok here is whats going on with (safe route carpooling) #1 you must first think on how far you want us to take you. #2 shop around to see if you can find a better deal then what I offer. #3 understand that we are located in Arkansas and we do provide transportation outside of Arkansas but i have to leave Arkansas to pick you up and include the pick up mileage in the fare. #4 if I have the best offer you must still understand that I have to charge for my time, my mileage, my, car maintenance and gas, even occasional nights in a motel or hotel stays. So here is how I do it, a fare from 0 miles to 250 miles, the fare is $10 pick up fee plus $2.50 per mile. Now any thing above 250 miles u get a discount, like the $10 pick up fee is dismissed and the price Per mile will be reduced to $1.25 per mile. But u still have to understand that there may be other fees such as toll fare charges etc. And you will still be paying alot if your going over 250 miles even when your paying just $1.25 per mile, like look at this, from Arkansas to Tulsa Oklahoma without crossing through tolls is 184 miles, and from Tulsa Oklahoma to Houston Texas with tolls is 498 miles, so the total miles would be 682 miles. so the total fare would be $852.5 at $1.25 per mile, not including toll fares and possible nighttime stays. So youre going to have to need the right budget for those type of fares. and dont be shocked when you know the price for my time and hard work driving for hours to serve you.
