Ok.....here we go. Another update on Brian. The MRI was read by the neurosurgeon and concluded there is just the 1 tumor. Even though hes technically a surgery candidate weve decided against it since he has cancer elsewhere throughout his body. Why go through brain surgery? ?? So next week he will have the one time procedure of gamma knife radiation. Its a outpatient procedure with no side effects. He will go back to chemo on Monday to continue to attempt to attack the other tumors. The prognosis is not good. This is end stage 4 cancer....but nobody knows the answer except for the big Guy in the sky. Looks like Brian will be released today with a new steroid and anti seizure meds. We are going to live life and be happy. We have asked our AMAZING Oak Vista Social Club (neighbors that are friends and family first) to help us create a little backyard haven area with pavers, etc. It will be the perfect spot to enjoy the FL Winter weather with our friends.
