Ok heres another update on my medical situation, this whole ordeal is starting to get laughable with all I have gone through, as of last week I was taking an oral antibiotic well come to find out the infection in my bone is resistant to the pill I was taking!! So my other options are like last week I said the hyperbaric chamber machine, but I cant start that for a couple weeks but to get the infection under control they want me to also do another treatment along with it, so my 2 options are a very very expensive pill were talking like 1600$ for a month after insurance, which I have already gotten this perscription once before and paid for it and got it home only to find out it severely interacted with another med Im on, luckily before I took it so that option is out.The 2nd option is a iv formula which I have to take at the hospital every 12hrs so I now have to go to the hospital everyday at 6:00am and 6:00pm 7days a week for 6 weeks and it might get bumped up to 3 times a day every 8hrs depending on results. Heres the thing that I dont understand at all if I go to the hospital my insurance will cover it 100% but I could have it done at home insurance will pay for the nurse and medicine but not the tubing to hook me up to the iv this is the funny part the tubing would cost me out of pocket 65.00$ for the first and 100.00$ for 2 times a day, so basically it would be 700.00$ a week and 4,200.00$ for the 6 weeks who the flip can afford that so I have to have Andrea Onstott load me up in my wheelchair and go out into the cold and snow because the insurance wont pay for tubes at home but will at the hospital I really dont understand the logic of it but all I know is it doesnt make sense to me!!
