Ok its 1:15AM and I can not sleep. Ive been in bed since 9:40PM and have only slept about 30 minutes. My mind is running wide open. To much to think about. Its times like this that really let me look at my life and try to figure out where Im going and what I want to do. One of the things in my head is my job, almost 5 yrs ago I took on the job of plant manager, boy what was I thinking! To all my friends out there that think they would like to be a plant manager get it out of your head. I use to enjoy people and it would bother me if someone did not like me, well after 5yrs not anymore. It has been a learning experience. People think that because your a manager your all about the company and they do things and say things that make your blood boil, I have had a few things in the past 5 yrs that have made me keep my distance from people. I guess its Gods way of telling me that my family and God is all I really have to worry about. I have a wonderful wife and loving kids and great parents and in-laws. I do not have many real friends anymore and Im ok with that. Im going to keep being me and do what I know is right. I still look for the good in people and believe that everyone has some good in them. There are still sneaky trouble makers in the world but deep down they too have some good. Enjoy life and dont sweat the small stuff.
