Ok last major post before deactivation...a summary of 2014...the worst and best year of my life. Like yall care..but Im doing it so I can use social media to inform the world of my sorted life...that does seem to be the trend..lol In 2014 I endured many losses and gains...all of which were life changing. I wont discuss the losses...theyve been the topic for many conversations in our nice little town and kept so many people busy as bees...glad to have given some of you some good gossip to keep you occupied...no need to rehash. Gains...I gained a wonderful son-in-law who, along with my awesome daughter, gave me the most precious gift ever...little miss Adelaide. Who, btw, has completely wiped the sorrow from any losses away and made 2014 worth living. I was promoted at work, which led to gaining a slew of new friends (love you all in Martin Co and West Va!) and last, but certainly not least...I gained some insight and knowledge that will be sure to make me a better person in the future. So...I wanted to share... 1) If God isnt your first priority...all else will eventually fail. 2) What you say about others says more about you than the people you are talking about. 3) Be very careful about forming an opinion on a situation when youve only heard one side. Everyone tells the best tale for themself. 4) Theres a huge difference between ACTing and REACTing. Train yourself to ACT! 5) Love without expectation and youll rarely be let down 6) People can change their habits..only God Can change their attitude and personality 7) When you stop trying to please people and do what truly makes you happy, regardless of the gossips, youre able to shed that fake smile. (PS...it feels really good to have a true smile) 8) A bag of skittles means more than a new car if its given out of love with nothing expected in return. (Thank you JS) 9) and last...you only get one shot at life...be good to people, be good to yourself, and make the very best of the life youve been given. Happy Holidays...may God Bless you richly!
