Ok, let the debate begin! I am all about men not hitting women. This is a fairly popular social belief. On that note, I can NOT STAND when women use this belief as their shield to abuse men, thinking there will be no retaliation! I find myself in this instance thinking She got what she deserved. Am I right? That is a matter of opinion. As a woman, it pisses me off that these women abuse this common held belief that they think they can act in this hostile way with no negative impact coming back to them. I was always taught growing up not to believe that everyone blindly follows socially accepted behaviors. If I ever hit a boy, I better EXPECT to get hit back. I think all girls & women need to do away with this thought that if they attack a boy/man, they will be left alone afterwards. Its stupid to think that every boy/man out there is going to follow what is socially accepted. Men should NOT hit women. Women should NOT hit men. Dont just assume that as a woman, you are in the clear. This girl just got a reality check the hard way!
