Ok, lets get this out into the open. When I am critical of this government it never fails that some knuckle head says We are still better than other countries, like China, North Korea, Cuba and Russia. Well my first question is, have you ever lived in these countries? My second question is, comparing the United States of America to these countries, is this the standard of comparison we use now a days to calculate our freedoms? You ask me thats pretty pathetic when our freedoms are STILL better than in the before mentioned countries. Has our expectation of freedoms and liberties fallen to the standard where we compare our freedoms to some of the most despot countries on earth? Are we so disconnected from what it means to have Freedoms and Limited Government Influence that we are really justifying in our minds and hearts that we are STILL better that those countries, when we are quickly catching up to them or surpassed them in several areas like the Corporate Tax rate and incarcerations into our for profit prison system? What you need to realize about our government is that they dont make it a habit of throwing you into jail for speaking out, they use federal agencies to steal your property and financially bankrupt you, then they incarcerate you on some bullshit indictments.
