Ok.....long week in trial. DWI case, client blew .119 and drove into another car.... Criminal defense in Galveston County is not as fun as it was back in the day! Constant fighting with asst. DA that actually had the gall to make some non-sense request for sanctions.... Really? Because I questioned his witness preparation that included telling the witness my theory!!!! He threatened a grievance.... To all of his co-workers, friends, and even the judge that seemed to coddled him during this dispute please encourage him to follow through on this empty threat, it will be crazy fun! For me! Oh, by the way, did I mention I got a NOT GUILTY.... Transcription of all this controversy, including the judge taking a contrary position to the actually black and white of the transcript.... to be posted on web site very soon! We are all accountable!!!
