Ok my friends deer hunting season opened this morning, and I wanted to take a second and talk to everyone about something that we all have a hard time doing. And thats practice. . . As a hunter we spend a lot of time in the off season getting ready for deer season, practicing and doing everything we can to be the best we can be when the time comes. A very wise man said this practice doesnt make perfect, perfect practice makes perfect. You can shoot all you want, but if you dont do the fundamentals properly, Youre just reinforcing bad habits. . The kind you dont notice until youve just blown a shot on the biggest buck of your life. And as Christians we also need to practice everyday in our walk with God. And practice the fundamentals, no matter how big or small they are. So that one day when our chance comes we dont blow our chance at the biggest thing that possibly may ever happen in our lives. You never know whos watching you and sees who you truly are when your away from church or church people. I pray Lord for your forgiveness for me not practicing the way I should.
