Ok, ok, so its NOT a video. I had VERY good intentions of making one, but you know, one thing led to another and about ten minutes after Heidi pulled out of the driveway I was like SHOOOOOOT, VIDEO..... UGH. So, heres the deal. Ive mentioned it before, early on when we started planning THRIVE, but this lady right here, Heidi Kasteler Swapp is hands down one of my ultimate heroes in life. I have respected her and looked up to her for MANY YEARS. If you have remotely dabbled in the crafting world, I KNOW you have heard of her, but long story short, I met her when I owned a store for four years, bought her product (she is a CRAZY trend setting designer) and she spoke at two events I put together. She brought something to BOTH of those events that I am TELLING YOU is HANDS DOWN the reason why I am THRILLED she is speaking at THRIVE. She has this way of reaching down into your heart and leaving a mark on it. She inspires you to be the BEST YOU. Im telling you, you guys have NO CLUE how blessed we are to have her speaking not ONCE, but TWICE at THRIVE. So Im not going to spill all her secrets, but I can tell you that one of her classes is going to be ALLLLLL about social media. She is a GENIUS when it comes to this, and after talking with her tonight, she has some pretty awesome stuff up her sleeve. Ive also BEGGED her to talk on a subject that I deal with a LOT and get a LOT of questions on is BALANCE. Lets face it, we LOVE the businesses we are building, but lets not forget about the things that matter the most along the way. Heidi is a MASTER at this, and I admire and LOVE how she is a BUSY BUSY business woman, yet still finds time to make memories AND record them with her family. One of the biggest things I am trying to focus on now is not looking back ten years from now and seeing an AWESOME oil business, but yet regret times I missed with my kids. You know, when we started dreaming and planning for THRIVE, I really thought...WHAT WOULD BE SOMETHING I PERSONALLY WOULD WANT TO LEARN? Im telling you, EVERYONE needs to be learning and growing, and every single class, PLEASE KNOW, every single session, has been SO thought out, every minute is being planned INTENTIONALLY. I am just SO THRILLED to be having Heidi share with you guys. You are in for the MOST AMAZING treat. Buckle up, she is full of energy, and may have a slight obsession with Nitro, oh my, dont get her started on her Nitro. ANYWAY, you WILL be hearing from her VERY soon, because she has some special things she would like you to do before her classes. She likes giving a touch of homework, OH DO NOT LET THAT FREAK YOU OUT....its fun homework. PROMISE. Ok, long post over. :)
