Ok, ok so this isnt quite a 6 yr old pit mix with ulcerated masses that we were trying to rescue today(he was rescued!) but meet Elly who is a 14 yr old Schnauzer who desperately need out by the end of today and one of our volunteers happened to have a foster. So they swung by the shelter about an hour ago and whisked her away to safety. This poor baby is a mess but tonight she is safe and will get to relax and let out that sigh of relief knowing that she is home. She will be seen first thing in the morning by our wonderful vet and staff at Dana Niguel Veterinary Hospital. Well keep you posted and thank you so much to our foster for stepping up on such short notice. Elly is a lucky gal!
