Ok one of my last personal posts before we all vote on Thursday. As most of you know I am supporting YES. I dont know what the future holds if we win independance, equally I dont know what it holds if we remain in the Uk. Will the Uk leave Europe, will we be governed by the Tories for the next Ten years? Will they sell our health service? Will an independant Scotland actually manage? I dont know. None of us can predict the future and the unknown is the only certainty for Scotland. The reason I am voting YES is I believe that our nation deserves a chance to live by principles shared by us all, or most of us. We are a socialist nation and I want us to have the the right to determine what is important to us. I am horrified to discover that our votes actually make no difference in a UK election. Scotland is full of clever, brilliant and beautiful people who care passionately about building a nation that is fair and equal and just. I am tired of being told what we can and cant do by a government that is hundreds of miles away, I want a chance to decide for ourselves what our priorities are. So for those reasons I am voting YES.
