Ok people here is some tips for idiots who think they know how to drive in bad weather. 1. Just because you have a little fancy button inside your fancy little vehicle that says 4X4 or All Terrain does not I repeat DOES NOT mean you can go 60 to 80 mph in a snow storm. Also dont go super dang slow either you need some speed to get up those hills. 2. GET OUT OF THE WAY OF BIG TRUCKS yes some are assholes but they can not stop when you decide you dont want to go further I repeat DO NOT STOP IN FRONT OF THE BIG TRUCKS they can not stop with all that weight they are hauling. 3. Please remember this one please if you forget anything else remember this one: DO NOT STOP YOUR VEHICLE WHEN GOING UP HILL you have to keep moving, when you stop to even think about it thats it you are not making it any further and NEITHER ARE THE PEOPLE BEHIND YOU. 4. Oh yes this one is big people: DO NOT GET OUT OF YOUR VEHICLE IF YOU STOP OR SLIDE OFF THE ROAD OTHER CARS CAN SMASH YOU TO SMITHERINGS WHILE YOU ARE TRYING TO BE A BIG SHOT AND HOLD UP YOUR HANDS THINKING THAT YOU HAVE SOME SUPERMAN POWER TO STOP A 1/2 VEHICLE SLIDING TOWARDS YOU. STAY INSIDE YOUR VEHICLE! 5. Mostly people you know the weather is bad dont try to do some stupid vine video for the next jackass movie by deciding to take a evening drive for really something that can wait till after the storm has cleared. Dont try to think you have years of experience and some stupid little paper that says you can drive in these kinds of conditions because you are the most dangerous kind of driver there is. Please people love your family enough and not want to be the next one they bury or worse the cause of somebody elses heartache of a loss. Stay home, reschedule that trip or appointment. It isnt worth it.
