Ok, per Athena Hill Gracyk 5 more facts most people dont know about me. 1) When I was a toddler my folks went to church. About age 4 one Sunday morning we had a flat tire and stopped going to church. Dont know if my folks took it as a sign or what. 2) One of the first book I can remember is Time-Life science series, the issue on Evolution. It had a funky crab on the front and the classic ape to Man chart which I still can see which room I was sitting in when I looked at it. 3) While I dont want to go into details lets just say I spent 3 years on Juvenile Probation because the judge thought I was not a danger to society and so didnt need to go to Juvenile Detention. 4) I was functionally an atheist until about the start of 11th grade. My girlfriend had become a Christian while out of town for the summer and decided to dump me (smart move on her part!!!!!). One night while we were breaking up she suggested I pray. I can still remember laying in my bed and saying God if you are real help. A wave of peace washed over me (closest I can put into words) and I said out loud Wow there really is a God! 5) I actually became a Christian a year or so later. I still remember the double takes I got went to Youth Group meeting. I was told later that a couple of folks said Thats Dawson Lewis. Hes the school atheists. I was rather (perversely?) proud of that.
