Ok post 1. Ok people out in internet land I was wakened rudely at 8:00, Sweety was going and thought I should sleep in after that long day wrangling and taming 2 grandsons, from 9:00 to 5:00. I do not like sleeping in it makes me groggy all day. Well I jumped out of bed and didnt fall down and God is good. You bet. and found some cloths and it was a bit chipper inside 63*. A little spooked on building a fire after the smoke out last week. Well anyway I mustered the strength to slip into the kitchen and get my pills and trusty Tylenol, and big ol cup of coffee. Go and write in my journal, and sip my brew. Have ABC GMK and switch to Fox back and forth. Like to see whats not going on, ABC. I finish up my letter to my cousin on Scotts Rridge and that makes 3, 2 cousins and a friend. I will mail them today snail mail. I sit here contemplating what to fix for my breakfast. So I rummage around in the frig and I found the free range chicken eggs I purchased from farmer Em. my no.2 grandson. I have 4 eggs so large I couldnt get the lid closed. So I decided to fry up the biggest one and see if it was any good. Well I cracked that dude in the skillet and 2 yokes came out 2 eggs in 1. a bargain at any store. Toasted 2 slices of bread, some Cracker Barrel apple butter another coffee and feasted down mighty good. I read on my book, and skimmed some new catalogs, and for some reason dads is getting Country Living magazine and gave me the last 2 issues Oct. and Nov. neat stuff in there. Well I awoke with not a sign of Auther but was sure he was around and ready to pounce on me at any time, he has no mercy. Well today was a free day and when my sweety comes home around 11:00 we will see what we can get into. Oh no I get a text, DADDY Help I need you at 3:00 can you come. Well of course I can whats a DADDY for. So a change of plans sort of a 2 1/2 hour free almost 1/2 a day more like a 1/4. Well sweety shows up and she is rattling of all the list we are going to do and I hold up my hand. Hold on a sec, we now have to be at No. 1 daughters 3:00. Oh same thing I said Oh. So we decide to run down to Clarksville to Ol Charlies cause I have a coupon yes big discount 20% off, paid the tip. So we stop in at Swiftys and purchase some push water at $3.29 a gallon, every time I do I remember the old days and I shouldnt, it makes me mad. $20:00 gives me a little less than 1/2 a tank. Whats the world coming to. Well we tool on down the road and avoid any and all crazy drivers and racers as much as possible and arrive at our destination unscratched and unharmed thanking God at every turn, bump, and those red light runners at the turn right on red but no stopping dudes and near dowells and law brakers. We get in an the place is close to empty and we order up real quick, I got the 6oz sirloin and mashed potatos with bacon bits and sautéed mushrooms and a big ol glass of iced sweet tea. Selene got Fish and shrimp and Cole slaw, and a diet coke we talked and discussed what we werent going to do and thought that was funny. Well she hadnt seen Rhys sense hes gotten back from Fl. adventure. Going home we decided to stop by the ol jay-c store and acquire some staples. Get home and put staples away and are ready in plenty of time to make the 3:00 dead line. Boys are there and they are all excited to see Memaw hugs all around. We stayed till pop comes home and we skedaddle on home. So it that time again yes a time so settle down its jammey time, it comes but once a night. sobe good to one another, pray for ali and remember God is good. AMEN. nite yall post 1
