Ok prayer warriors a little update on Katie bug since we just notified our family. The hospital just called and they have moved her surgery up too this Friday(25th)!!! The surgeon starts her surgeries at 730 a.m. and goes from youngest too oldest. As of right now, unless the surgeon has an emergency between now and then, Katie is her youngest patient. Which puts us at the hospital at 5:30 a.m...this will not be set in stone until Thursday when they will call, confirm, and give us exact details. The tentative overall plan is, tumor and kidney will be removed during surgery! There will be a biopsy done on the tumor. Surgeon said she will have 4-6 weeks for recovery period. Then she will start radiation and chemotherapy. Length, amount, etc..will be determined by the biopsy..This is all I can tell you at this point!! Heather and I would like to thank everyone for their prayers and support. Especially our family who always goes above and beyond for everyone else!! Hopefully someday we will be able to pay all of you back for your love and kindness!!
