Ok purging tip #2: do not look up purging without the word "home" behind it. It. Is. Not. Pretty. Seriously though, purging tip #2. grab three boxes, bags, containers, whatever you have and label each box: donate, discard, deal Start in whichever room you choose and immediately go through and grab as many things as you can to donate. Have you used it in 3 months, does it bring you happiness, is it necessary to making your life easier? If you answered no to any of these questions, donate it! Is it broken, is it out of date, is it missing a piece? Discard it! Does it need your attention-like paperwork. Mail it, throw it away, or file it, but deal with it! Now that you have your discard box, throw it away now, not later! Take it to the trash can and tie that bag and take it out! Place your donate box in your car or trunk now! Take it and donate it the next time you leave your house. No excuses! There are so many donation boxes in parking lots its not funny.
