Ok so I asked where the Pawn Shop was and was told it was only 3 blocks from the bus terminal. I went to the bus terminal everyday and caught the city bus headed to the strip from my downtown location. I got a super flight and hotel package from Expedia, and the hotel was in old town at the Plaza which is right next to Fremont street and the original gambling area of Las Vegas. 5 days and my flight for 430 bucks. The hotel was recently remodeled and the rooms were great. Fremont street has several older gambling joints like the Gold Nugget and Binions. They also provide free bands every night and they were top notch entertainment. I recommend you try it, 10s of thousand leave the strip and come down every night to be a part of it. Now back to the Pawn shop, yes its very small and not very exciting. The owners are so rich that they tend to only be there for the TV shootings.
