Ok, so I thought Id be Miss Handygal this evening and replace the valve thingy that was making my toilet not stop running, got almost done, Joseph walks in with an empty bottle of Tums Freshers, which he confiscated from the confines of the darkest most bottom portion of my purse in a zippered bag, this bottle I knew to be completely full at last sighting. Immediately start freaking out in my head, but calmly took the bottle from him, and started off by calling the pharmacy, they couldnt tell me what to do or not do via looking up in their database, but ask that I do call back and let them know what I find out. At which point I call the Advice Nurse Line for his peds office, relay the info, they state will transfer me to poison control and will call back in 20 minutes to make sure everything was ok. At this point, Im still calm on the outside but still really worried that that much Calcium has to have an impact somehow, poison control looks it all up and tells me to just push giving him water, if he starts vomiting to give him pedialyte, they would only worry if he had done this several days in a row. Whew right? Call the pharmacy back to let the tech know that she was right that it wasnt very serious but to definitely keep the fluids going in, she thanks me for calling back since shed have worried all night if he was going to be ok if I hadnt. Glad that there is still some human emotions behind the pharmacy counter!
