Ok so Im going to have my second rant on this issue. Although I love Casey Co School system Im once again upset when it comes to the participation we have in sports. Once again Tarah has signed up, paid, and gotten prepared to play softball, just to receive a call tonight stating they didnt have enough girls to sign up and play. The same thing happened with basketball. The poor child has tried and tried to participate in a sport for the last two years. I mean what in the world is going on? It use to never be like this. So what are our children suppose to do? Wait until High School to be able to participate in sports? Am I doing something wrong like signing her up at the wrong time? Is the problem only existing with the youth girls teams? Does anyone know if we are able to take our children to a different school district to participate in sports? If not than can anyone suggest and/or explain to me what we can do? This truly does aggravate me. I just hate to deny her opportunities that should be available.
