Ok, so earlier today Rich and I went to a few furniture stores to shop for the new house. At the last store we went to this particularly annoying over-eager sales lady who wouldnt take a hint to leave us alone and let us look around, followed us everywhere. I finally told her we were looking for furniture for a few rooms, including a bedroom set and asked if theirs was solid wood. She told me no, its wood veneer or laminate and that they dont make solid wood furniture. When I asked why not, she replied, because of the Conservationists. What? When I mentioned that all their beds and dressers had a lot of scratches and scuffs, she replied with, you wont believe it, but we get a lot more traffic in here than your bedroom will. WHAT? LOL
