Ok so here it is world this will probably be one of my blue moon statuses where I tell you what I am doing whether you care or not. Sunday I fly out of Rocky on my lonesome to Perth where I will do a course on Monday then head up to port hedland on Tuesday, to begin my new job on a 3 on 1 off roster (weeks that is). As a lot of you know this is my second fifo job to wa and I must say as excited as I am to try and get out of this financial struggle that I am in, I am also not looking forward to missing out on quality family time. I fear I may miss my sons 1st and maybe even his first steps or even actual proper clear words. But I am keeping positive as hopefully this job will take me through to Christmas. Bring on the change and bring on my first time to port hedland. Hopefully being in the desert on the ocean front will be different to being in the desert with no water. There will still be red dirt everywhere so I guess that will be enough to drive me mad. Lol.
