Ok...so my SSG asked me to review a brand new SGT first NCOER. Ok... Ive worked with this young SGT for about 9months and in that time, I have found him to be immature, have NO tact with his soldiers, create a hostile environment with his soldiers, late to formations on a CONTINUOUS basis, maintain a double standard, etc etc. The list goes on and yet hes been counseled on these actions how many times? Yeah... the answer is none. Ok- so Im reviewing this NCOER and as this is his1st NCOER Im seeing nothing but EXCELLENCE across the board. Then I see a bullet that reads: Drove the Battalion Commander over rigid terrain accident free. (-_-) REALLY...? This NCOER is a fluffed and untrue. And hes getting a 2-1? I questioned it and he took it away. Im not about throwing NCOs under the bus but if you want this NCO to grow- dont BS!
