Ok, so my first year with chickens and this is my first broody hen. I shoved a bunch of fertilized eggs under her from a friends stock. Theres at least 4 different breeds and three duck eggs :p. she sits then gets up and out of the coop walks around for awhile then sits back on them. She seems to be out more then she is on the nest. How much should she be getting off the nest and at what point would I have to put her in a cage with her nest food and water or just throw them in the incubator?
