Ok, so my number is eight. I gather that this is true details about you. So here goes: 1. My life has had many chapters. I have three younger brothers. I have three great children. Ive been married three times. Divorced once, widowed, and very happily remarried. 2. Mount St Helen blew up on my 21st birthday. I believe that it was God’s way of telling me to get a handle on my anger issues. It has worked! 3. I’ve climbed Ben Nevis in Scotland. And it wasn’t a cloudy rainy day. I learned that hiking poles save my knees. I then had a chance to hike portions of the Pacific Crest Trail. 4. My favorite quote is by Emily Dickinson “dwell in possibility”. You have the ability to think, to change, to do over your life, whatever direction. It is also the reason that I bought a kayak and a couple of bicycles. Which also led to meeting my husband-to-be, it just took us nine months before the first date. 5. I am a romantic. I love my husband Alan. I love to listen to Puccini, Allison Kraus, & Mary Chapin Carpenter. I love to travel and explore. I love memories of my grandmother, her garden and apple pies. I have a butterfly garden and get a kick out of seeing hummingbirds and a few Monarchs. I miss looking into my babies eyes. 6. I can’t imagine my life without my children. They are the best part of me. 7. My favorite women: Mrs Babe, 5th grade English, my great aunt Clara, phenomenal quilter, Sister Mary Jennifer, who got me to love science, Gretta Flint, my Irish Italian best friend from NYC, DeeDee B, Nancy W knitters extraordinaire, Gertie my mom-in-law, Lisa, Christy, Sharon, Dorita my nursing buddies, and Dr Rachel Remen and Romie! 8. I come from a family of storytellers, passing on our history. Somewhere I would really love to write; confidence thing though. I also had to write this in Word & it drives me nuts that the columns arent aligned. But if I try to fix this, Ill also delete all the above.
