Ok so random post. Over the last few weeks I have seen people post their fave tracks. For those that know me I tend to post alot of musical limks to videos as I run about 15+ different groups on FB. But anyway I see people have been nominating their fave tracks, so I have tried to whittle it down to 10. I will post a video a day and explain why...... No.10 Propaganda-Das Testements Dr Mabuse(1984) https://youtube/watch?v=_hLSAXwCCFY When Frankie Goes to Hollywood were at their commercial peek, ZTT seemed to have this steady stream of Trevor Horn produced singles and albums. Perhaps this is no different, but this came out in about early 84 and it starts with the main track which is very powerful and atmospheric but then it gets to the 7 minute mark and then becomes almost classical but in an electronic sense. I think the Propaganda A secret Wish album is probably right up there with my best albums in terms of production and the image, it all came together for the band for a brief moment and then the band imploded. This is more than just 80s pop music. It set a mark in production and sound that few matched at the time.
