Ok so since this is the place to do it here goes: So every time I leave the house I have been met with YKs Worst Drivers. EVERY TIME. WITHOUT FAIL. Really the biggest complaint I have that happens consistently and that worries me the most these days are peoples seemingly lack to be able to STOP at STOP signs. I was walking home from Javaroma yesterday in broad daylight and some woman looks directly at me, smoking her death stick, Im waiting at the corner (because I do not cross the roads anymore without seeing that people have completely stopped anymore because of this STOP sign disease people seem to be suffering from) and she doesnt even break. Not even slightly. ZOOMS through stop sign and around the corner. I tried to see a license plate, but its the aggravating time of year when snow is built up on the license plates. I yelled as loud as I could HEY OPEN YOUR EYES. This incident is not special for me, as it happens, like I said, EVERY TIME I leave the house! Now my biggest worry is not necessarily for me when I get worked up about this horrible driving, its for the kids who dont necessarily look both ways on their way home from school. One of these days this type of driving, by it seems most people in YK, is going to be fatal in my opinion. Lately, Ive been daydreaming about setting up sting operations where I KNOW there is horrible stop sign etiquette. Get license plates and submit to the RCMP. Im so tired of it.
