Ok so the last post people were speculating a lot. I thought Id expand on the thought since I have more time. First of all there was a foreboding feeling just coming up the the border. I came in from Madison, Wisconsin, I guess I have to blame google maps as well, on my way to Valparaiso, Indiana. I was immediately met with really bad roads and road construction. The posted speed was really low, but everyone was going really fast. There were cops everywhere and I had a trunk full of guns. Mind you that I was not in violation of any laws, but that wouldnt stop the police from messing with me, and my car is covered in gun stickers. After a short time I was met with a toll stop. I could go on and on about tolls, but for brevity Ill just say I despise everything about them. About 30 miles down the road I met another toll booth. Yes thats right another toll booth on the same freakin road. Then another, and another, and another. In total I went through 7 toll booths just going on the outskirts of Chicago. Everyone there drives an average of 15 to 20 miles over the speed limit except the occasional person actually driving the speed limit who causes a huge confusing mess. Not being from the area, or knowing it at all, I had a hard time managing the money for tolls, the map, and the crazy traffic. On top of all that my posterior was puckered so tight I doubt I will move my bowels for several days. It was worse than eating a case of MREs. I showed my vehicle to my cop buddy Im staying with in Indiana and he almost fell to the ground laughing at all the idea that I might have been pulled over in Chicago. He explained how it all would have probably gone down. I knew it would be a bad idea, but I didnt think it would be as bad as described. I will never enter Chicago again.
