Ok so there I was pulling a car trailer with my international travelall on it, Pulling it with my international travelett. It was around nine pm dark over cast night. I was moving at about 60 mph down firtile valley rd, when just as I was starting into a big corner my headlights went out. I could not see my hand in front of my face it was so dark. I slammed on my brakes, but with the trailer pushing I was not stopping very fast. It just happened to be a spot on the road that had a really steep drop off on one side. So I turned little away from the steep side, and hit the ditch hard. Amazingly I came to a stop in the ditch. Found my flashlight, and turned in the hubs in four low started to drive out, but I soon realized that my rear drive line had come apart on impact. I had to pull it off put it back together and install. Went to start the truck and nothing happened, no power.:( got my tester out and found a broke wire on the starter. Fixed it and drove out. Then drove the last two miles home with the flashlight out the window. What a night my pillow is calling my name. Later...
