Ok so this video is pretty graphic so be warned. It reminds me so much of the day that I moved out from with my mom and stepdad. Fists flying over nothing, hateful words, and a refusal to accept someone. My anxiety shot through the roof while listening to the video and actually gave me a bit of a flashback. This thanksgiving, if you have a loving family, be thankful for that especially, because many of us were denied that. In the end we are all people, and deserve to be treated with respecr. I share this video not to bash religion (although worth noting that it is the main catalyst behind it), but rather to bring to light, in a very real way, the struggle some of us in the lgbt community have to go through. I still dont talk to my family, I feel alone so many days. But Ive grown to trust myself, to love everyone so that no one has to feel that kind of pain as long as I am near, i hope you all do the same.
