Ok,so when do I know to take Thomas to the e.r for his tooth? I read on-line that the metronidazole with the amoxicillin it could take up to 48 hrs for improvement. Hes had 3 doses so far . His face is considerably more swollen today then yesterday when he went but mind u he had 1 dose last night and 2 today...I just know u cant screw around with infections but we cant go to the dentist wihtout any money or insurance. I called again this evening and got sent to voice mail.(about him not receiving his medicaid card) I just know when I read on-line when I looked up that antibiotic that if the absess bursts it can cause the infection t go through his body and kill him....
