Ok the other day it was all these lists of top 10 books. I did mine and you can check back on my feed for my answers. But I had one thought: none of them were non-fiction. So, in that spirit, Im doing another list of my favourite/most important non-fiction books. Again, this is off-the-cuff so I may miss some out from my sleepy brain. 1. Archetypes and the Collective Unconscious by Carl Jung 2. Eating Animals by Jonathan Safron Foer 3. The Empty Space by Peter Brook 4. How I Escaped My Certain Fate by Stewart Lee 5. Selected Works of Thomas Paine 6. In Defense of Dogs by John Bradshaw 7. The Birth of Tragedy by Friedrich Nietzsche 8. The Hero with a Thousand Faces by Joseph Campbell 9. Licence to Thrill: A Cultural History of the James Bond Films by James Chapmen 10. The Cinema Book by Pam Cook Not going to tag anyone, but folk might like to join in?
