Ok.. this is a long one. Taqwa booster: Something to motivate us Someone should make a video specifically explaining in detail abt what WOMEN will get as rewards. (Do u notice tt only detailed lectures n videos of what acts wld get women to naar were ever made? Ok so there are a lot of women who will end up in naar, so shouldnt we be made even more motivated to do e opposite by dangling e carrot instead of waving e stick around at us??? What abt positive teaching methods? Hummpphh!!) At most lectures, we hv always just bn told n trusted tt we would be vaguely rewarded. Not v alluringly attractive if u r a go-getter sort of woman. Before this, I have not heard many lectures (there were some, but not in too much detail) tt describe our rewards in detail n even fairly for women. When i was younger, i used to think tt heaven was male-biased n tt women dont get e same awesome mind-boggling rewards as men; what? mere chattel even in heaven?? I mean why do our husbands, in his form get e most beautiful huroors n we are stuck w him in his form, as perfect as we all will be in there, inshaAllah? Or why do we hv to end up in our husbands domain instead of one of our own? Hey its not a walk in e park to be a properly covered, non-perfumed, non-tabarruj muslim woman n a good obedient muslim wife. What do WE get for our subservience? For our ibadah? (Side note: To be able to spend eternity staring into at Omar Borkan al Galas dreamy eyes wld be something to strive for, at least!) Watch e video!! ull be amazed n perhaps a little more enthused to re-align ur objectives in ur daily activities, our jobs, n even our recreational tendencies, towards an exalted mission: for success in our akhirah.. (Note to ladies: e video is still a little male oriented, tt being recorded during an all male lecture, but Sheikh Menki did in his wisdom, jump over e fence onto our side) Something to motivate us... Life on earth is just 100 yrs max if u r healthy.. akhirah, in all its glory n prime splendor is forever.. Its v BODOH to enjoy for 100 yrs only n suffer for partial eternity (if u know what i mean) All good things come from Allah Rabbul alamin.. all nonsensical side notes are from full-of-faults feeble human me.. ;)
