Ok this is for My daughter but it is a great recipe because it is quick to make for breakfast or dinner and because it can be changed to suit the person you are serving. Bisquick Quiche Recipe 1 lb bacon, fried and crumbled 1 (7 3/4 ounce) can spinach, drained very well 1 red onion, chopped 1 cup monterey jack cheese, shredded 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded 2 tsp garlic powder One dash of Worcestershire sauce LIQUID MIXTURE 1 1/2 cups milk or soy milk 3 eggs 3/4 cup Bisquick Or Gluten Free Bisquick 1/4 teaspoon black pepper Directions: 1 Spray large pie pan with Pam. 2 Layer fried and crumbled bacon, spinach, red onion and cheeses. (You may also substitute with the Mexican blend of shredded cheese). 3 If making ahead, cover and refrigerate. 4 When ready to bake: prepare liquid mixture in a separate bowl by beating milk, eggs, Bisquick and pepper just until mixed well. 5 Pour liquid mixture over layered ingredients. 6 Bake at 400 degrees Fahrenheit, uncovered, for approx 45 to 60 minutes. If getting too brown, cover with foil until done. 7 Cool about 10 minutes before cutting (pie style). Remember: you can change the ingredients to be any kind of quiche you want. Asparagus and crab is really good as a quiche. If you want to be more heart healthy you can use more white cheeses instead of yellow cheeses. Spinach or broccoli seems to be good in any kind of quiche I make.
