Ok this is my last time saying this. The Increase the Peace Stop the Violence Blacktop Classic on Sunday September 1st is not a tournament, a ranking forum, a league, a exposure camp or a elite game. It is to bring ALL communities together to bring attention to bullying and violence that occurs in our schools and communities. The game is just for FUN. All players will attend the morning part which is guest speakers talking about violence and bullying, and how to be positive. I have reached out to many, many in the San Diego County basketball world. Not many interested because of whatever the reason maybe, but we will be successful and reach out to bring attention to violence and bullying. Those who have committed to bring your kids, volunteer, be a voice and just lend a hand thank you. This is a FREE event. I asked God to forgive me for missing the 1st Sunday. All STUDENT ATHLETES you do not have to play, we just want you to be part of signing the pledge and be voices on your campus. We want cheerleaders, soccer, football, baseball, and track student athletes. My community in Southeast San Diego is a great place and Jackie Robinson YMCA is a great facility. Come and visit and be part of the solution. If any player need to talk to their agents because it is not a NCAA certified event, just stay at home. Thanks to those from outside San Diego County who is coming.
