Ok, this question goes out to all those denture wearers! When you start wearing temporary set soon after extractions and your gums and such arent done doing their thing, should you just wear your dentures ALL the time? Including while sleeping and such? Im finding it to be very painful when putting mine in in the morning, I think maybe do to a little swelling because its something new but also gums might be doing their own thing at night!! How can I avoid the pain when I first put them in?!! Ive had them only 2 days but this morning it was quite uncomfortable! Especially my upper ones! Also what are some tips/tricks when doing everyday things like drinking from a bottle, or thru a straw? Puffing a ciggy? Trying to eat? Not choking/gagging while talking?! Etc...? Theres more to these things than one would think!! Oh by the way, my gums are healed up to where all the wounds are sealed and healed.Weve been without any teeth for over a month so they are healed up nicely though still shifting and doing their thing for a few more months.From what Ive since learned I should have had these in from the get go but wasnt very well educated on this nor had a helpful, informative surgeon!
