Ok time for a little positive point of view. See this pretty aqua cart? Its full of about 10% of my WIPs or UFOs or flimsys or whatever you want to call them. The top used to hold the pieces of last years mystery-Celtic Solstice. Its now almost a flimsy. Almost. The middleshelf holds three other in progress Bonnie Hunter quilts. The bottom is my huge-just need to sew the last borders on-Imari Plate quilt. I have too many or too few projects in the works. It depends on your point of view. But I dont worry that Im starting something else before they are finished. Ill eventually get it done...or not. Its the experience, the community, the creativity, and the fun! Thats why Im doing it. Life comes and gets in the way-which is why this cart it full. Besides what ever I have that never gets done will be some future quilters treasure. Just like I treasure every vintage block and top and piece of fabric I find. So for those of you worrying about matching seams(OMG mine are horrible at times) Or other unfinished projects (I have a trunk with ufos going back to the 90s) JUST HAVE FUN! Take help where needed and enjoy the process. And for those who are stuck in a negative bent, dont comment just google quilts and look at the pretty pictures until you feel better.
