Ok we went to the neurologist today and he said that dad has a classic case of dementia. His symptoms may have been more pronounced in the last few days due to an antibiotic hes been on combined with his low weight (118 lbs). Im bringing him home with me for a few days so I can make sure his medications are taken correctly. Also I realize how much Ive taken his health for granted over the past few years. Hes 85 and the majority of people dont make it to that age. Especially not while push mowing their yard or climbing on roofs of rental houses to patch or paint it!! He was doing these things just a couple of years ago! Im going to spend time with my dad and show him how much I love him before its too late . . .
