Ok, yesterday I shared an image I took using the D7100, Mup, and exposure delay,today I will share my experience with the Barred Owls using the Nikon D810, Mup (Mirror Up), exposure delay as before set for 2 secs. This time though, I used no flash. I also set the crop to the full DX mode, which gave a 3200x4800 pixel, 15.7 MP image. The first is the full image, the second, a very cropped one. I used the Nikon 300 f/4 lens with the Nikon 1.4TC, tripod, iso 500, f/7.1, 1/25. Post processed in NX-D and Photoshop 2014. Nathaniel I hope you do not mind the two images, just wanted to show the detail, even cropped.
