Ok you know it is hard these days to stay out of the political craziness that we have these days. So God has given me a gift so I am going to use it. What is it that drives our lives each day is it the news our government what is it as I type my heart is heavy. I get up today and learn of 2 stories that broke yesterday as I read the 2 stories it is hard for me to pick what story is the most saddest. You know God tells us that all we have to do is trust in him and understand he is in control all we have to do is get out of the way. When we let the world control what we say and do then there will be friction in our lives because we are believing what the world says is right or wrong. When we fight addiction or just plain problems or when we fight for what we think is biblically right in our life we are allowing what ever this thing or things is to grab and hold on to us with a tight grip. why do you think God tells us to fear not and then we are told to fear him. Well the 2 are the same we should not fear God to help us in our lives no matter what is going on he can help. The fear of God we should be scared of what he thinks about how we live our lives and I am not talking to just the non-Christians if we as believers leave these people out in the wilderness and we know all we have to do is to say a kind word to bring them back what does that say about our belief in GOD. Ok the 2 stories I was talking about 1 Rev Frank Schaefer of Zion Methodist church in Lebanon PA He married his Gay son to another man and in the article they talked only about why in the Methodist church he shouldnt do this. 2nd story was about a man Merrick Mckoy and his 19 month old daughter. Merrick posted on his facebook page that he was going to kill his daughter and his self and he did. These 2 stories are just a drop of what we all deal with in our lives both are hurting people hurting families you would think one is worse than the other but that only depends on how you look at it if we look at it with Gods eyes then how are the 2 different I dont think they are in both stories people are in control once we allow this world to tell us that what we believe is wrong and that death is a easy way out what is there left. If we dont change the way we do our thinking about what is right and wrong I really feel like we are allowing Evil to get in our lives and there the problem starts. when we try and change the world without God then we will not Fear him. Amen
