Okay - the continuing saga of Pams journey in this new life: Taylor spent the night with me. Had a great dinner (if I do say so myself) - went to bed at 11:30 - all is good! Woke up at 4:00 and no heat!! thought I was out of propane. I have a small extra tank so at 4:00 I go out and try to take the tanks off the RV but cant. Go back to covers until 7:00. Try again. No luck. By this time, I am so frustrated with not being able to get them off. Office opened at 8:00. Got a pair of channel locks - still cant do it!! A very nice man came by and asked if he could help. Thank you God!! I went and had the tanks filled. One was empty. Now, I wasnt going to share this part - I had the valve in the wrong position to switch to the other tank. I learn something every time I take her out. When I returned Gary - we are now on a first name basis - was there to help me put the tanks on the RV. I told him I could do it and he said please let me help. Now, I feel great getting heat and he helped a damsel in distress!!! Win- win!! Did I mention it was 19 degrees? I think it was close to that inside!! Gary suggested I get a portable electric heater in case this ever happens again!! So, I am going to do that. I am very blessed!! Oh, and for those of you that might think I crumble under pressure (and freezing cold weather), I was pretty amazing. Just rolled with it. And Taylor - never complained once. Life is good!! Maybe I am finally growing up!!!
