Okay, "Fundraising Friends" of mine... Laps Pennsylvania, the Humane Agency I volunteer for as a Humane Police Officer, is looking to raise funds. We are looking for some ideas for a Fundraiser event to hold in Spring 2014 - in 2011 we held a Live and Silent Auction out of an old restored barn in beautiful Malvern, PA and in 2012 we held a Silent Art Auction with a catered dinner at the Mansion in Ridley Creek State Park. We are looking for something that is fun where we can raise funds for regular operating expenses at the LAPS Farm (hay, feed, vet bills, dentist bills, farrier bills, etc) and to cover any charges associated with Animal Cruelty Investigations (attorney fees, vet evaluations, etc). As one would expect, the cost to run a farm is extremely high for just routine feed, hay, and vet let alone the expense of costly rehabilitation. The numbers are staggering and we need your help to plan a fundraising event. Let me know if you have any ideas and if you would like to be a part of the team to help plan such an event!
