Okay. Heres a good question for you guys working in post or the TV & film industry in general... Is authoring with the standard SMPTE offset of -1 hr (-1:00:00;00) still relevant in todays studios?? Are there any instances where it still might be required?? If so, is the average person likely to come across any of those circumstances?? What do you guys think?? Oh and if youre a newcomer to audio in TV/film and are simply curious about this topic, simply ask and Im sure someone, including myself will oblige you with an explanation. :)
