Okay....I am giving the details....these three thieves came up to us while we were setting up our picnic and taking pictures of the food/wine. (basically we were asking for it). They said they needed to sign some petition. We said no Merci and they would NOT leave. Then they asked for food (bizarre). Maria said no merci, no thanks, no gracias....every language possible. So they finally left. Two seconds later, Frannie said MY BAG IS GONE!!!! Kristy yelled put on your shoes and go!! I saw them across the street turning a corner so I yelled they went left! Frannie ran full speed after them....next thing I know, I see Maria run like the wind past the same corner. Frannie ran right up to them and ripped the pocketbook off of one of them - Maria grabbed one and said I am calling the police and yelled police!!! Kristy caught up and started taking pictures with her phone saying I will show the police ....meanwhile the storage was full on her phone and she was pretending! Kristy said to one of them, give me the money, she started showing Kristy her bra? Weird. Then finally Kristy got the youngest one (like 12) to Ive up the money. When Frannie, Kristy and Maria came came back to our picnic blanket, a whole group of French students cheered and clapped! Frannie had Everything.... Money, Cards, phone...in her bag.
