Okay, I am pretty open but here goes: 1. I am straight up addicted to This American Life. 2. I have no athletic skill whatsoever but when it comes to games that involve strategy I am out for blood. 3. In 1990 I went to the General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church USA and we were asked to make name tags with one truth about myself. I wrote, I believe Anita Hill. 4. I continue to believe Anita Hill. 5. I am a voracious reader and generally read about 400 pages of text each day. 6. If I read an article and it casually mentions as an side, Dexter was the third person to ride in a hot air balloon... I start researching who was the first, who invented the first hot air balloon, how have they evolved, who were the innovators in this field, etc. I am incredibly curious. 7. I listen to lectures to go to sleep. Usually history lectures from university youtube pages. 8. The first blood relative I ever met is my daughter Clellie. 9. I met my husband at Bible study through Presbyterian campus ministry at the University of Delaware. We had a young man from the local congregation with cognitive disability. I used to refer to him as the ultimate man and Paul as useless over here. I did not know Pauls actual first name for three months. 10. I am a story teller. It is my gift. I find some people are not patient with me and my stories but I have given up on trying to be shy. I am a who I am. The friends who love and accept me as I am I treasure above rubies.
