Okay I believe everyone agrees that the flood is by far the scariest enemy in the halo franchise... I want that fear back. Flood Mission/ Halo 5 Final Mission For the Reclaimer Saga, when the flood return (1) in the campaign, whether it be in Halo 5 or Halo 6 or Halo 7,8 or 9 (2), is that Master Chief Petty Officer John-117, our hero, upon discovering the flood are back, would probably try to warn the galaxy. Anyway he would need to escape, the on massing, huge army of flood (3). He has a warthog and must drive a fair distance to get to a Ark portal, to get him off world. Here is the unique twist, the level is basically an outrun, adrenaline-pumping warthog run, like in Halo CE and Halo 3, except that Master Chief and companions (4) each have their own warthogs (5). The game play would be as it always is, except that the level starts players already in their specific warthogs (6) and players cannot hop out. When driving the warthogs they are in first person view (7). The gunner has first person view of the machine gun turret, and a slight zoom or down sights by clicking the right thumb stick; and the driver has the entire driver seat and details seen, (8.) it gives options for a rear view mirror (9). If a warthogs were to flip, players are immediately swarmed over by flood and die (10), adding the careful driving and fear factor. The level would be located on the Lesser Ark, after finding all Mendicant Bias missing fragments, scattered around the galaxy, Master Chief returns to his tomb (11). Cutscene Upon giving Mendicant Bias back his missing fragments, Chief demands Mendicant Bias to tell him the cure to Rampancy and how to bring Cortana back... he suddenly laughs (12) NO ONE DEMANDS INFORMATION FROM ME! Master Chief being aware of the other cotender-class ancilla, Offensive Bias, threatens Mendicant being imprisoned again, due to conversing previously on Path Kethona, with the Iso-Didact. Mendicant laughs yet again... Offensive... Mendicant... these names mean nothing to us, we are the same... two faces of the same coin. Master Chief then has a shocking revelation, he has no cure to rampancy, that perhaps through the terminals (13) and on the dreadnought it was Offensive helping him, and not Mendicant, who is still rampant, and that Mendicant sent him to Requiem, as he foresaw Cortanas downfall, and his solution of escape. YOU HAVE ASKED US MANY QUESTIONS! WE SHALL GIVE YOU ONE ANSWER! THE TEST HAS BEGUN! WELCOME TO THE RECLAMATION! (14) Suddenly alarms sound, and sentinels swarm in from the air ducks and out the entrance. The flood had used a precursor star road they saved and is imminently orbiting the Lesser Ark, with a massive fleet of post Ancient Human-Forerunner star ships, it leaves a cloud of darkness that expands for millions of miles on the surface of the Lesser Ark. Forms start dropping in on the surface (15), Chief and companions immediately hop in their warthog and speed off to the exit of his tomb... the gameplay level is Mendicant Bias tomb hallway collapsing around Chief and companions, and then they escape to open, sandy, Ark environment that has really bad weather. The flood are continually chasing you through the whole level, which gradually gets harder and harder to outrun the masses. The gunner is trying to defend the warthogs, from incoming flood in atmosphere and flood chasing the warthog, the driver obviously controls the driving of the vehicle and punches any flood latching on to the passenger and driver sides. The level ends when you reach your the Ark portal that sends you to Sanghelios (17). (1) - yes when not if. (2) - heck could be the final mission in Halo 5. (3) - I am not talking about spores in test tubes on a halo array, I am talking about huge flood forms, combat forms, pure forms; all chasing Master Chief. (4) - cooperative players. (5) - 1 driver, 1 gunner (6) - warthog #1, player 1 (driver), player 2/AI if single player (gunner), warthog #2 player 3 (driver), player 4/AI if 3 players are in game (gunner). (7) - for the first time, ever. (8.) - speedometer, temperature gauge, gearstick, steering wheel, hands and arms, (9) - like just hold down the right thumb stick. (10) - no chance of defending themselves against insurmountable flood forces, each player in this mission only has one life. (11) - a massive intricate forerunner underground hall building that expands for hundreds of kilometres, with wide spread hallways and sentinel air ducks. (12) - a deep laugh that echos and shakes, the hall ways and his tomb. (13) - in halo 3. (14) - suddenly Mendicant Bias escapes his shackles and his tomb. (15) - some flood forms, drop in through Mendicant Bias hole in the tomb, after he left when escaping. (16) - tornados and sand storms that can damage or flip your warthog. (17) - reminiscent of the small portals on Requiem, and the portal on Earth.
