Okay. I finally watched American Hustle. I thought it was a good movie, a nice ensemble piece. But it was not a GREAT movie, not by a long stretch. There was a scene where Bradley Cooper and Amy Adams were getting hot and heavy and I knew that women were watching that and saying to themselves, Mmmmm: Bradley Cooper, while us guys were going, Mmmmmm: Amy Adams. Christian Bale was revelatory and all the supporting actors were fantastic in their roles, from Louis C.K. to Robert DeNiro to Jeremy Renner (who played his role so well that I felt sympathy when he took a fall).
