Okay I need to rant. I sit here watching the news and I am so tired of hearing about these football players beating their wives and children. NEWSFLASH!!! This happens every single day damn near every minute in the world! I used to work in domestic violence and let me tell you I have seen women badly beaten and guess what? NO NEWS REPORT!! There was no investigation, no newspaper article, no one cared. How many children are beaten, killed or abused on a daily basis? Where are their lawyers, police or news reporters covering their stories! I think its bullshit that we pay so much attention to people who make millions and no attention to the little people. It breaks my heart for the women and children who live in fear every day and who cry themselves to sleep at night wondering just when someone will step in to help them!
