Okay I normally dont rant on here because its like arguing with your parents. Its not going to get you anywhere and your not going to change their minds. As hard as it is to bite my lip and not say what is on my mind, I just cant anymore! The following rant is something that I am very passionate about. If you are offended or dont like what I have to say, so be it. If it really bothers you that much you know how to un-friend me. Recently in the news we have all seen the pictures of a female hunter taking wildlife in Africa. I am going to start out and say I support her, and every hunter in the WORLD. To hunt is a NATURAL instinct, in every animal. INCLUDING HUMANS. Now while I believe that legal harvesting of wildlife is an essential part of conservation and survival, there are people out there that want to chastise and criticize every hunter. I have a couple questions for anyone that wants to answer. I will not, and do not judge, as it is not my place to do the judging. #1. Do you eat meat? #2. Where do you get the meat that you eat? How many of you think that a corporate company that raises and slaughters cows, pigs, chickens, turkeys, etc. are 100% humane? There are numerous articles and reports of corporate companies that kill farm raised inhumanely. It sickens me to see this. Out of necessity we still purchase these meats on a daily basis. I feel that a clean kill in a hunt is more humane that any way of slaughtering an animal for MASS production. I can assume some of you may ask how often is there a clean kill? I can say in the years that I have been hunting all of the kills that I have seen and been apart of were clean. There was very, very little to no suffering. To see reports and articles where EMPLOYEES and Mass Production FARMERS punch, kick, brand, throw, electrocute, and in some cases skin alive, the mass public would rather see that then a hunter in Africa taking an animal for an alleged trophy. Here in lies the key. The article that has brought this to light said that she hunted these for trophies. How do they know this? Did they talk to the hunter and get the information from them or are they speculating? How is everyone so quick to judge someone for hunting? How can someone say that the hunter should seek psychiatric help and in the same sentence say they hope that she gets eaten by one of the animals? This is outright hatred coming from people that just want to make people believe like they do. It all comes down to what business it of ours what someone else is doing LEGALLY?!?!?!? ITS NONE OF OUR BUSINESS!!!!!!! Rant Over!!!!!
