Okay. I will post a rant. But a disclaimer first: I understand why they have to do this. They want to get the younger demographic to sell the toys and maybe get them to become collectors when they grow up. That being said: I just came from KMart to see if they have any new stock, maybe get a first hand view of the Grimlock leader figure and buy it if its good. Instead I saw the simplified transformers that were previously mentioned in the various transformers sites. They are deluxe size and they suck. I grew up in the 80s and loved they original batch of TFs. As time moved on, I loved the fact that the newer TFs had more articulation, and look more realistic. I feel that these things are a step backward. All this time, between 1984 till this series for the movie, there has never been a true concern for the complexity of the toys. And now this. These things are back to the drawing board of articulation only to the shoulders and maybe an elbow. The gimmick of power punch and quick draw were stupid. Maybe in the early 80s they were amazing for the He-Man figures. But not 30 years later. There is hardly any detail. They actually remind me of the fake oversized transformers in the past. There is my rant. This is a sample: hasbro/transformers/en_AU/shop/details.cfm?R=49C120BF-5056-9047-F5D7-461E207CBF49:en_AU
